Too early?

Don't laugh - I'm one of those pathetic souls who absolutely love Christmas and everything that comes with it. While most of society is annoyed at how early the decorations and sundries go up in the stores, I for one can't wait to walk around while listening to Christmas music and buying resin reindeer that will most assuredly be lost the next time I move. For instance, right now I have the first Christmas music of the season playing in my basement and I'm seriously contemplating putting my tree up this weekend (of course I have a fake one and it resembles the Charlie Brown Christmas tree more than I care to admit).

I just love it, what can I say?

Especially now that I live in a place where it snows at Christmas time so it actually feels like I should be bundled up by the fire sipping hot chocolate and watching Christmas specials.

Drummer Boy, Silver Bells, O Holy Night ... how I love thee!

Trying to post pictures from Anne's wedding

Ok, again, new to the whole blog thing so here goes nothing ...

My best friend got married last weekend and I was the maid of honor. It was an awesome wedding, very beautiful and we were blessed with great weather. She looked amazing in her dress and the whole thing turned out perfect. I even managed to give a pretty sweet toast if I do say so myself. The only downside to being the maid of honor is that you have to stay after the reception to make sure all the gifts get taken care of. In all the craziness, I lost my camera, and all the pictures on it. I love that camera, and I really hope it turns up. Anyway, here are some pictures from the other bride's maids cameras.

First blog ... read at your own risk!

So this is my first experience blogging - I really just joined to read all my friends' blogs. I'm originally from Texas (hence the title) but I now live near Washington, DC. I went to Texas A&M for my degrees and now I work in medical device sales, which I could explain but then I would have to explain the explanation. I love what I do and can't imagine having a regular nine-to-five. I'm a member of Mclean Bible Church and spend a lot of time with people there. It's an awesome church - if you're looking for a church home you should definitely check it out. Well, I guess I better get back to work.

More later!
